January 19, 2006:

I've been wondering what sort of large-scale project I could do
now that I have more free time, and I decided to go crazy and play
one song from every officially recognized NES game according to
the .pdf list at nintendo.com, which lists 667 games minus
the combo carts which only feature games that had previously been
released as singles (such as Donkey Kong Classics.)
The first game was King's Quest V.
Check out the bottom of the Audio section for "Project 667."
